If Congress doesn’t pass Ron Paul’s (R-TX) "Medical Privacy
Protection Resolution" (H.J. Res. 38) by June 15, Clinton’s last
minute medical regulations will become law and your most sensitive medical
information will be privy to federal bureaucrats. Rep. Paul’s bill
states that the Clinton medical rules would "have no force or
effect," thus nullifying these privacy-stealing regulations. More
specifically, if H.J. Res. 38 is NOT passed by this Friday, here’s what
will happen:
Your physician will be forced to turn over your confidential medical
records to the federal government.
Your sensitive medical information will be stored on a massive federal
database to be viewed by various government agencies without your
permission.
Third parties, such as insurance companies and drug companies will have
access to your records.
You will be given a "health code identifier" to carry with
you from cradle to grave.
Quite simply, Hillary Clinton’s grand vision for a national,
socialized healthcare system will be well in the works. It is ABSOLUTELY
IMPERATIVE that Congress pass H.J. Res. 38. YOU HAVE TWO DAYS TO SAVE YOUR
MEDICAL PRIVACY!

CARA is Back and Property Rights are in Serious Danger
Although property rights advocates were successful last year in
derailing H.R. 701, the Conservation and Reinvestment Act (CARA), by
passing a less harmful compromise, the pork-barrel monster is back.
The House Resources Committee is set to have hearings on the $45
billion, land-grab trust fund on June 20th. But these hearings aren’t to
be conducted fairly. The new chairman of the Resources Committee, Rep. Jim
Hansen (R-UT), is shutting out CARA opponents and property rights
advocates from having their voices heard. Rep. Hanson is also a co-sponsor
of CARA.
Our sources tell us that after this hearing on June 20 there will be
very little time before CARA is voted on in the Resources Committee. That
means we need to begin putting pressure on Congress NOW. If CARA becomes
law, the federal government will have almost unlimited funds to snatch up
property and bar access to public lands. This could be the biggest blow to
property rights in America to date.

voicing their opposition to this horrendous bill. Rep. Hanson’s phone
number: (202) 225-0453.
