"DeWeese
Online" Debuts
Conservative
Deconstruction of Media's Coverage of News
Washington,
DC - Conservative newsmakers and commentators are making room at the top
for Tom DeWeese, president of the American Policy Center, an outspoken
advocate on issues emerging as mainstream American concerns. Toward that
end, a new Internet site, "DeWeese Online" (www.deweeseonline.com)
has debuted with a unique format.
News articles and commentary appearing in
newspapers such The New York Times and The Washington
Post will find their content contrasted with the writings of DeWeese,
drawn from the pages of The DeWeese Report, published by the
Center.
"It's a way," says DeWeese,
"for those concerned with issues such as education, the environment,
and national sovereignty to secure the real facts and contrast them with
what is published daily. It is no secret that many respected newspapers in
the nation have been losing subscribers and readers. The
reason is that many readers are turning to independent sources such as
myself for the facts that, too often, get left out of today's mainstream
journalism."
The new web site debuts with articles
from both the Times and the Post on education issues with a
DeWeese response that documents the huge rise in the diagnosis and
prescribing of mind-altering drugs. "It's now part of the
nation's educational establishment's solution to chaos in the
classroom."
Also available is DeWeese's look at the
way Soviet-style Communism has transformed itself into a more acceptable
"Commonism" while still pursuing the goals if International
Socialism. The buzzwords of "global village", "global
commons", "environmentalism" and "interconnectiveness"
hide the same agenda for nationalization of property and redistribution of
wealth.
Deweeseonline.Com compliments the
Center's popular Internet site, Americanpolicy.Org, but more directly
reflects the views of Tom DeWeese. For thirty-two years, he has fought for
free enterprise, individual liberty, property rights, smaller government,
and back to basics education. He has been spearheading the drive to
protect national sovereignty.
